Country to the bone is a song that takes me back to listening to the old Alabama songs and singing as loud as I could. This song has a little bit of Southern Rock and Country, mixed into one. The fiddle drives it home at the end.
Have you ever heard a song come on the radio and it takes you back to a place in time? The bridge says, "it wasn't the words and it wasn't the music, it was love and baby we were dancing to it" That pretty much defines this song in a nutshell.
If you have ever dealt with a daily struggle of addiction, then you can relate to this song. Yes you may not be perfect and yes you may never walk on water, but that aside by excepting Jesus into your heart, you can allow Him to break those chains. Chains of bondage, pride, lust, drugs or whatever.
